自2014年5月巴育上将上台执政以来，泰国经济摆脱了跌宕起伏的非良性增长模式，进入平稳复苏增长的轨道，宏观经济数据持续向好。巴育政府管理经济的理念与前几届政府有很大不同，奉行先皇“知足经济”哲学思想。随着泰国国内改革的深化和国际经济环境的改善，泰国经济有望保持更快增长的乐观势头。
Since May 2014，the General Prayut came to power；the Thai economy has been out of the ups and downs of non-benign growth model，entered a track of steady recovery and its macroeconomic data has continued to improve. Prayut government’s idea of managing the economy is very different from that of the previous administrations. It pursues the late king’s philosophy of Sufficiency Economy. With the deepening of domestic reforms and the improvement of the international economic environment，Thai economy is expected to maintain a faster growth.
