In 660 AD，under the military attacks from the Tang Dynasty，Baekje was the first to be conquered among the three Haidong countries.The end of its regime paved the way for a unified Xinluo.It was not the original intention of the Tang Dynasty to resort to military force into Baekje，in which stead there was a complicated international situation back then.Baekje refused to accept the Tang Dynasty's mediation of the various forces on the Korea Peninsula.Japan also intervened in this affair.The overthrow of Baekje's government led to a readjustment of the political landscape in East Asia.
