The report pointed out that the construction scale of video surveillance system in Guangzhou is at the forefront in the country，. Besides，the video integrated services and intelligent video application had achieved remarkable results. However，the integration of video network needs to be strengthened，the video management operation calls for improvement，the video information requires to be deepened and the video management legislation should be perfected. The paper finally put forward the suggestions to strengthen the video surveillance construction management.
