In September 2016，Guangzhou introduced “The Implementation Plan of Accelerating the Planning and Construction of Characteristic Town in the Northern Mountains” and planned to build 30 characteristics towns in four years. The direction of characteristic towns development in Guangzhou should be the reconstruction of urban and rural life，and make the towns livable，suitable for industry and tourism to become the important modes of hub network city and scattered areas of urban life.
