With the development path analysis of typical cities e.g. London，Tokyo，New York and Shanghai，this paper summarized the space，present situation of industries and resources advantages in Guangzhou，identified the future development value and predicatively put forward the functional reengineering of the central city （Guangzhou） revival in “Pearl River Delta” region.
