The benefits of transport infrastructure projects to economies include the investment and create new jobs in the construction period，as well as the business opportunities that are generated while providing the transportation services.The Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge will undoubtedly improve the overall competitiveness of the region.On the other hand，due to changes in the transport conditions and costs between the connecting economies，it is expected that the comparative advantages and competitiveness of the existing markets and industries will be changed，accordingly.It is suggested that the Macau government should promptly create a favorable institution and business environment so that the economy and designated industries in Macau can maximize net benefits and reduce the risk of being marginalized after the bridge is opened.
