The “Belt and Road” initiative will not only serve as one of the national development strategies for a period of time to come，but also will become a catalyst for new forms of regional cooperation in the context of economic globalization.Deep influence to Macau's own development and external cooperation can be expected. On the other hand，there is still insufficient research on the economic and trade relations between Macau and countries and territories covered by the initiative. This article attempts to clarify this by exploring trading in merchandise and service，mutual investments and labour cooperation. Policy suggestions are proposed to stimulate further thinking.
