Yanshi City enjoys many national projects for big archaeological sites of Erlitou，Shang City and Luoyang City in Han and Wei Dynasties，which occupied important places in the civilization of China even the world. These sites are the most peculiar and valuable sources of culture in Yanshi City and they should play an important role in constructing Henan Province as one of the national cultural highlands. Some achievements and experiences have been made in the protection and creation on the big sites，while there，at the same time，still exist some thorny problems，for which a breakthrough should be focused on the establishment of cultural orientation，the reform of system and mechanism，and the leverage of economy.
