In year 2016，the USA，EU and China had made significant progress in cybersecurity legislation. The president of USA signed Defend Trade Secrets Act of 2016，which emphasized the importance of protection of trade secrets. The EU had passed the General Data Protection Regulation and the Directive on Security of Network and Information Systems，strengthening the protection of data and cybersecurity across the EU. China had passed the Cybersecurity Law，which was the first cybersecurity basic law and had epoch-making significance.
