在推动“世界旅游休闲中心”“中国与葡语国家商贸合作服务平台”建设和促进经济适度多元过程中，特区政府以“会议为先”为方向，着力培育会展业的产业链，引进不同类型高质素的国际会议落户澳门，吸引更多优质的高端商务旅客，以带动本地更多行业和中小企业的综合发展。为实现这一目标，特区政府和业界应大力宣传澳门作为“盛会之都”的优势，积极竞投国际会展机构年会；通过精准扶持，引导“会议城市”与国际接轨；巩固和强化会议中的葡语国家元素；加大培育和引进会议产业的专业技术人才的力度。
By reinforcing Macau’s positioning as a global tourism and leisure center and a service platform for economic and trade cooperation between China and Lusophone countries，accelerating moderate economic pluralism and constructing a city featuring convention and conference，Macau SAR government cultivates the MICE’s industry chains，invites some high-end international conferences to Macau，attracts more high-end business travelers，and promotes the development of Macau’s industries and SMEs. In this context，this paper systematically summarizes and concludes the current developing situation，problems and suggestions of constructing Macau to be a city featuring the hosting of convention and conference.
