2011年乌兹别克斯坦继续保持稳定。在政治领域,乌兹别克斯坦继续推进稳步改革,社会状况总体保持稳定及良好发展。国家对内政策的重点依然是改善民生、建设公民社会等方面,对宗教极端势力和恐怖主义保持高度警惕和打击态势。经济状况继续向好,提出大力发展中小型和私营企业,在能源、制造业等方面取得了较大成绩。在对外关系方面,同美国和俄罗斯都保持了较为稳定平衡的关系,特别是乌美关系日渐密切。同欧盟关系稳定发展。但同邻国塔吉克斯坦关系继续处于低谷,争端不断。中乌关系发展顺遂,两国在各领域合作进展顺利。
Uzbekistan saw continuous stability in 2011. In terms of politics, it continued to steadily push forward reform so that keep overall the social condition stable and good. The country took the improvement of people's livelihood and building of civil society as domestic policies' priority. Meanwhile, it kept alert of religious extremism and terrorism.Economic performance continued to improve. Uzbekistan made great efforts to develop small-sized and medium-sized private sectors with great achievements in the aspects of energy, manufacturing and others. As for foreign relations, it maintained stable and balanced policy between America and Russia, while keeping closer tie with USA and smooth relations with the EU. However, its relations with Tajikistan still are at a low ebb and squabbling continues. Bilateral relations between China and Uzbekistan have developed well, and cooperation of both side in all fields is good.
