This article is a preliminary review and research on the archives of Jilin Archives regarding Japan’s aggression against China. It probes into Japan’s immigration invasion in China based on the name change of “settlers” and focuses on the nature and characteristics of such immigration invasion. The article points out that，the change of name from “settlers” to “immigrants”，not only disguised the nature of Japan’s aggression and expansion in China，but also reflected Japan’s strategic adjustment and change of colonial policies during its aggression against China. At the same time，the essay reveals the disasters that Japan’s invasion brought to Northeast China，as well as its profound influence on Japanese immigrants，through collecting and organizing the data of specific historical facts of Japan’s invasion of Northeast China.
