为全面了解安徽农村留守儿童现状，由安徽大学社会与政治学院、安徽省妇女研究与培训基地专家组成的课题组开展了为期七个月的调研。调研采用定量研究为主、定性研究为辅，问卷调查与深度访谈相结合的方法，呈现安徽农村留守儿童结构、分布特征，总结留守儿童在监护人、与父母沟通方式和频率、课业、课外活动、心理等方面的总体状况，并通过与非留守儿童相关数据的对比分析，提炼归纳出当前安徽农村留守儿童面临的突出问题，并针对问题提出相应的对策建议。
To fully comprehend the current state of left-behind children in rural Anhui，the project team with experts from the School of Sociology and Political Science of Anhui University and Anhui Provincial Research Base for Women Studies has conducted a 7-month investigation. The investigation，mostly quantitative with qualitative methods as support，combining both questionnaires and intensive interviews，presents the structure and distribution of left-behind children in rural Anhui，summarizes the general situation of left-behind children concerning guardians，methods and frequency of communication with parents，study，extracurricular activities，psychology，and other issues，exposes major problems currently encountered by left-behind children in rural Anhui by comparing and analyzing relevant data on non-left-behind children，and proposes corresponding countermeasures to address them.
