The full development of a moderately well-off society would not be possible without the guidance of the five cardinal development concepts，namely，innovation，coordination，green，open and shared. Coordination is the intrinsic requirement of sustainable and sound development，and also an inevitable path for New Urbanization with Chinese characteristics. Under the guiding concept of Coordinated Development in New Urbanization，Lujiang County has persisted in regional coordinated development，rural-urban integrated development，synchronic economic and social development，coordinated development of material and spiritual civilization，and harmonious development of New Urbanization and ecological civilization，achieving beneficial outcomes both in practice and in theory.
