关于珠海与澳门的关系，需要研究更早的历史资料而加以考证。关于澳门开埠时间，在澳门回归前后经国内学界整理明、清历史档案文献，已取得重大进展，能以此为依据，而清代康、乾两朝文人将明朝万历年间史文进行了篡改，不能作为澳门开埠的依据。早期的濠镜澳，不能与澳门开埠捆绑，“珠海与澳门两地原本是同城”的认定不确切。澳门开埠的过程、关于葡人去留问题的京城辩论，亦应尽量恢复历史原貌，从而充分尊重珠、澳关系所经历的400多年的历史。
It is necessary to study the earlier historical data to verify the relationship between Zhuhai and Macao. Before and after the reunification of Macao，the domestic academic circles organized the archives of the Ming and Qing dynasties to make significant progress on the time of opening up of Macao. The literati of Kang and Qian in the Qing Dynasty tampered with the history of the Ming Dynasty，which could not serve as an argument for the time of opening up of Macao. The early Haojing Macao can not be bundled with the Macao port，so “Zhuhai and Macao were originally the same city” is not accurate. It is necessary to restore the original appearance on the process of opening up of Macao and the capital debate on the fate of Portuguese people，so as to fully respect the history of the relationship between Zhuhai and Macao with more than 400 years.
