“一带一路”倡议已经进入实质性推进落实阶段，其框架下六条经济走廊各有侧重，特点各异。其中，落脚南亚、着眼印度洋地区的“中巴经济走廊”因中巴高度互信以及与巴基斯坦发展规划高度契合等因素而迅速推进，已成为落实“一带一路”倡议以及构建“中国-周边命运共同体”的先行者。该走廊政治基础牢固、前景看好，但也面临内政、外交、安全和地缘等方面的复杂挑战，需要预先全面研判并采取有效措施应对。
“The Belt and Road” Initiative has entered in the stage of actual implementation，with the sic economic corridors focusing on different regions and sectors. Situated in South Asia and looking to the Indian Ocean，the CPEC moves apace as a tribute to deep political trust and high affinity of development plans of the two countries. CPEC has become a forerunner in implementing “the Belt and Road” Initiative and building the destiny community involving China and its near abroad. Enjoying a sound foundation and promising prospect，this corridor is face with complicated challenges from internal political front，diplomacy，security and geopolitical aspects，which deserve close scrutiny and assessment.
