从海洋渔村民俗的概念辨析入手，以“民俗”“海洋民俗”“海洋文化”“海洋渔村民俗”的概念为区分对象，明确海洋渔村民俗的概念和内涵。海洋渔村民俗的特有影响因素——海洋，造就了海洋渔村民俗的独有特色，但在中国几千年传统文化的影响下，海洋渔村不仅有海洋特有民俗，受土地因素、儒家思想以及道教、佛教信仰等因素的影响，同时兼有中国部分传统民俗。以海洋渔村民俗的不同类型为区分标准，运用功能主义理论说明不同类型海洋渔村民俗所具有的社会功能。
Beginning with the concept of marine folk in fishing village，and regarding these terms- folk，marine folk，marine culture，and marine folk in fishing village- as analyzing objects，this paper has tried to clarify the definition and connotation of marine folk in fishing village.The specific factor influencing the marine folk in fishing village -the ocean- contributes to the unique features of marine fishing village folk. But in thousands of years in China under the influence of traditional culture，marine fishing village not only has ocean unique folk custom，but also has some features of China’s traditional folk，effected by land factors，Confucianism and Taoism，Buddhism. Using different types of marine fishing village folk as the distinguishing standard，functionalism theory is used to explain the social functions of different marine folks in fishing villages.
