全球化既是构建我国主流文化的背景，也是我国构建主流文化的机遇。我国主流文化对全球语境的自觉对接只能是在全球化与中国化、全球基本价值观与中国特色价值观之间，保持必要的张力。面对西方强势文化的压力，我们只有自强不息，不断提高对外文化交流和传播能力，牢牢掌握我国主流文化的自主权和话语权，才能有效维护国家安全：这是中国人的精神家园建设问题，是中国人的人文世界的建构问题，是中国文化的复兴、繁荣与发展问题。如果我国主流文化能更多地吸纳人类业已达成普遍共识的价值文化，具有最大可能的全球品质，那么我国主流文化将更有国际影响力和竞争力。
Globalization is the background and opportunity of our mainstream culture construction. The consciousness of globalization in our mainstream culture can be formed only in the tension between globalization and the values with Chinese characteristic. Facing western pressing cultural pressure，what we can do is only to guard the security of our country by improving the ability of cultural exchange and grasping the language power of our mainstream culture. This is the issue of Chinese spiritual home construction，the construction of Chinese humanistic world，and the issue of revitalization of Chinese culture. If our mainstream culture has the quality of globalization and has been universally acknowledged by the world，it will have more international influence.
