中国与东南亚自古因特殊的地缘、血缘、族源关系而使国家间的经济、政治、文化艺术交往较其他地区更加错综复杂。在中国与东南亚的公共外交领域，舞蹈艺术以其非语言文字的文化特征，以不同的作用机制和路径，在中国与东南亚国家间始终扮演着“外交先行官”的重要角色，为中国的对外发展营造良好的国际环境，在公共外交中发挥着重要作用，同时，舞蹈艺术作为公共外交的重要手段也有其自身的局限性。本文试图提出解决问题的建议和策略，使舞蹈艺术成为中国与东南亚国家间更加行之有效的外交方式。
Due to special geography，consanguinity，and the relationship between the source and make-up of the national economy，politics，culture and art exchanges in China and all of of southeast Asia compared with other regions has become even more complex. In the course of public diplomacy between China and southeast Asia，the art of dance，with its cultural characteristics of the language，and different mechanisms of action and path，has always played a “diplomatic pioneer” role between China and southeast Asian countries，creating a favorable international environment for China’s development. It has played an important role and an important means of the public diplomacy but also has its limitations. This paper puts forward suggestions and strategies for making the art of dance a more effective means of diplomacy between China and southeast Asian countries.
