中马渊源深厚,互动密切。近年来,两国的友好关系,更因“一带一路”而持续升温。马来西亚为东南亚主要国家,2015年轮值为东盟主席国,第26届东盟峰会在吉隆坡召开;该国华人人数多,社会经济力量强,中马关系对于中国与东南亚各国的互动,具有标志性意义。本文考察了中国—东盟共同体建构及“新世纪海上丝绸之路”战略下,中马互动发展及华侨华人的参与情况。本文指出,马来西亚是促进中国—东盟合作、解决“南海争议”的重要合作伙伴;而在“新世纪海上丝绸之路”所搭建的平台上,马来西亚华人也将持续扮演深化中马友谊的积极角色。
China and Malaysia have a long-standing and solid relationship in trade,economy and politics ever since establishing official ties in 1974. With China’s recent launch of the 21st Century Maritime Silk Route Economic Belt,it is envisaged that the Sino-Malaysian relationships will be further strengthened and extended. Malaysia is a dynamic member of ASEAN,serving as the host country and chairing the 26th ASEAN Summit in Kuala Lumpur in 2015,the leadership of which is highly trusted and respected by all. Furthermore,Chinese make up a significant minority population of Malaysia. Chinese in Malaysia have contributed significantly to the social and economic development of the country. The development of Sino-Malaysian relationships is a success story. It also has strategic significance for how to improve the interaction between China and ASEAN. This paper focuses on the analysis of the structural components of ASEAN,the frequency and intensity of interactions between the government and people of China and Malaysia,and the anticipation and expected participation of the Malaysian Chinese in the 21st Century Maritime Silk Route Economic Belt,with an aim to shed light and promote a better insight and understanding of all issues concerned. The paper demonstrates how the China-Malaysia partnership is an important part of solving intra-ASEAN South China Sea disputes and how Malaysian Chinese population will serve as a bridge between China and Malaysia.
