China’s bond market legislation has undergone four major stages：starting stage，initial development，regulation and progress，and fast-track growth. From the perspective of legislative sources，China’s bond market legal framework includes laws，administrative regulations，departmental rules，and relevant self-regulation rules and business rules. In terms of scope of application，the framework includes laws targeted at the whole market，inter-bank market，exchange market and counter market. In terms of contents of bond laws，the framework covers market division and types of bonds，market entry，issuance system，information disclosure system and investor suitability arrangement.
