The credit rating industry has arisen together with bond and is one of the major methods to solve the problem of market information asymmetry. Credit rating has played an important role in promoting credit risk warning，improving bond issuance efficiency and reducing transaction costs. In recent years，the scale of business and revenues of China’s credit rating industry has increased rapidly and the sector has become increasingly influential. This article tracks the developments of China’s bond credit rating industry and further analyzes its current development and industrial landscape. It also put forward suggestions and anticipations regarding the development of the industry.
