It is generally believed that，the thought of Ligu near the Zhu Xi and Tuixi’s position on the contrary，embodied in the discussion about the four begining and the seven emotions. In fact，more discussion from Ligu is around the origin of Tao Xin and Ren Xin，and his ideas were quite different with Zhu Xi. In the Lifa and Qifa issues，the real thoughts of Ligu and Tuixi’s position is different in the same，and also same in the different，do not all constitute a contradiction. The main difference between the two arguments is that，what Tuixi said on Lifa and Qifa mainly refers to the root of emotion，and what Ligu said on Qifa is refers to the form of emotion. Tuixi is concerned about the innate roots，and Ligu is concerned with the function. They are different levels. Tuixi and Ligu both use the concept “Qifa”，but they use them fundamentally different.
