目前，日本对中国“一带一路”构想的关注度不高，其原因在于这一构想宏大而复杂，从日本人的视角来看，其目的并不清晰，即“一带一路”究竟是“国际公共产品”，还是追求中国国家利益的通道。若为前者，则日本或其他国家应立即参与“一带一路”建设，同时，通过亚洲开发银行与亚洲基础设施投资银行进行合作，并鼓励民间企业参与，日本应对“一带一路”构想发挥作用。
In Japan，currently not so many people have a keen interest in China’s the Belt and Road initiative. The concept of the Belt and Road is so large and complicated that it is unclear whether its purpose is to build “International Public Goods” or to seek China’s own national interests from the Japanese point of view. If its purpose is the first，there will be very few obstacles for not only Japan but also other countries to take part in the projects of the Belt and Road Through the cooperation between AIIB and ADB，or participations of Japanese companies，Japan will be able to contribute the Belt and Road initiative a lot.
