The China-U.S. bilaterally cooperation at global and regional levels has been expanding since the beginning of 2015. Meanwhile，the mutual distrust between the two powers has been simultaneously increasing，with conflicts on issues such as South China Sea and cyber security growing. Thus scholars and experts in the U.S. initiated a debate over the U.S. China policy. Under this background，President Xi Jinping made a state visit to the U.S. Both China and the U.S. made a meticulous preparation and arrangement for Xi’s visit. The two presidents frankly talked about the differences between China and the U.S. and reaffirmed their consensus on the consistent principles guiding Sino-U.S. relationship. They also agreed to further expand cooperative areas，including development cooperation for the first time. All these made Xi’s state visit a productive one.
