天津市简称津，位于华北平原东北部，与北京市、河北省相接，是中央四大直辖市之一，也是中国北方最大的沿海开放城市，素有“渤海明珠”之称。全市面积为11919.7平方公里。2014年全市常住人口为1517万人，地区生产总值为15727亿元，同比增长10％，人均GDP达105321元。本文通过分析2013~2014年天津市经济综合竞争力以及各要素竞争力的排名变化，从中找出天津市经济综合竞争力的推动点及影响因素，为进一步提升天津市经济综合竞争力提供决策参考。
