海外华商投资在珠三角经济区的快速发展和转型升级过程中依然发挥着不可忽视的作用，特别是通过先导和示范作用吸引着更多的资本、人才和技术等资源聚集珠三角。尽管珠三角经济区依然是海外华商投资的集中地，但是其在吸引海外华商投资方面仍存在成本不断上升、软环境不够完善、招商宣传和转型支持力度不够以及海外华商网络服务功能单一等问题。政府相关部门可通过强化招商统筹规划、完善涉侨相关政策、创新知识保护方式以及构建资源整合平台来应对上述困境，持续推进海外华商投资珠三角经济区。
In the process of rapid development and transformation and upgrading of the Pearl River Delta Economic Zone，the investments from Overseas Chinese enterprises still plays a significant role. Especially，through pilot and demonstration effects，investments attract more capital，personnel and technical resources gathered in PRD. Although the Pearl River Delta Economic Zone is still concentrated place for overseas Chinese businessmen to invest in，but it still exists some problems in attracting the investments from overseas Chinese businessmen，such as the rising investment costs，the imperfect soft environment，not enough investment promotion，transition support and overseas Chinese business network services. By strengthening the overall investment planning，improving relevant policies related to overseas Chinese businessmen，innovating ways to protect intellectual property rights and building knowledge resource integration platform，the relevant government departments may address problems above，and continue to promote the overseas Chinese businessmen investing Pearl River Delta Economic Zone.
