援非医疗队是中国在非洲软实力的有机组成部分，也是中国在非洲软实力建设成效最为显著的“项目”；它在增进中非传统友好关系、树立中国负责任大国形象和传播中华传统文化方面发挥着不可小视的作用。然而，近些年来，由于时过境迁，援非医疗队在派遣、医疗及其援助方式等方面也面临一些问题或挑战；这些问题不仅制约着中非医疗合作本身的发展，也影响着医疗队作为中国在非洲软实力建设载体的有效性。从趋势上看，有必要将援非医疗队纳入中非卫生合作的整体框架中来考量，从提升中国在非洲软实力的战略高度来探索改进援非医疗队的新方式、新举措；通过援助方式更加灵活、援助内容更趋多样、援助主体更为多元等举措，使之在中国在非洲软实力建设中发挥更大的作用。
The Chinese Medical Team in Africa is an integral part of China’s soft power in Africa，as well as the most effective project of China’s soft power construction in Africa. It has played a role that should not be ignored in promoting China - Africa friendly relations，in building the responsible image of China，as well as in disseminating Chinese traditional cultures. However，in recent years，with the changes of internal and international circumstances，the Chinese Medical Team has faced with some problems or challenges in its dispatch，medical care and the mode of medical aid in Africa，which not only restrict the development of the China-Africa medical cooperation，but also affect the effectiveness of the Chinese Medical Team as the carrier of China’s soft power construction in Africa. Analyzing from the trend，it is necessary to incorporate the Chinese Medical Team into the whole strategy of China-Africa medical cooperation，and to explore the new measures from the strategic height of China’s soft power construction in Africa. By means of a number of measures，such as flexibility aid mode，diversification aid content and variety of aid actors，make the Chinese Medical Team play a greater role in China’s soft power construction in Africa.
