2014年中国和越南的高层互访增多，在经贸、文化、教育等领域交往频繁，边境地区合作与互联互通继续得到推进。2014年5月越南南部和中部地区出现针对中国企业的打砸抢烧事件，对中越关系产生消极影响。在两党两国领导人的审慎把握下，到2014年10月中越两国的政治、经贸、旅游等往来恢复正常。
In 2014，there were frequent contacts in the political，economic and cultural domains between China and Vietnam. The progresses in corporation，interconnection and intercommunication were made in border areas of two countries. In May 2014，there were attacks on Chinese capital enterprises in southern and central parts of Vietnam. It had negative impact to the relation between China and Vietnam. With the concern of leaders，the contact between two countries returned to normal by October 2014.
