南海领土争端全面困扰着2014年中菲两国关系的发展与走势，不仅双边外交关系陷入困顿，双边旅游、投资与贸易都受到了极大的负面冲击。双方海军在黄岩岛、仁爱礁的交锋成为两国南海争端的焦点。随着中国对南海主权实际控制能力的增强，菲律宾强化军事同盟，开展东盟外交、大国外交及欧盟外交，为菲律宾的南海诉讼寻求国际上的支持，对中国宣称南海主权制造国际舆论上的压力。

In order to contain with China’s graduate heightening competence of controlling in the South China sea，Aquino administration strengthened the military alliance with USA and Japan，launching the ASEAN diplomacy and big power diplomacy，even EU diplomacy，all that was to see for support to Philippines’s lawsuit submitting to international Court of Justice in Hague and pressure to China’s proclaim of South China sea right.
