在经济高速发展的新时代，社区安全问题，依然是城市治理的重中之重，公民的生命财产依然是最重要的财产。美国首都华盛顿特区在治理暴力犯罪等安全问题的过程中，积累了丰富的政策经验。本文基于美国城市研究所（The Urban Institute）2015年4月发布的关于华盛顿特区社区安全政策的研究报告，在分析华盛顿特区具体做法的基础上，提出了相关建议。
With rapid economic development in the new era，community safety becomes the most essential issue in respect of Urban Governance and citizens’ lives and properties are the main assets of our society. Local government of Washington D.C. has accumulated a wealth of experience in the practice of handling security issues. In April 2015，The Urban Institute released the study on public safety policy of Washington D.C.，analyzing challenges of affordable safety problems，put forward improvement suggestions. This article reviews and summarizes the study and puts forward proposals for enlightenment.
