2014年，河南省参与的“大运河”和“丝绸之路：起始段和天山廊道的路网”申遗项目被正式列入《世界遗产名录》。作为唯一一个“双申遗”的省份，河南在中华文明发展进程中展示了自己的重要地位，同时也为自身经济社会的发展、对外开放和交流提供了强有力的文化支撑。应加强研究，积极推进开发利用，以彰显线性文化遗产的综合效益，促进河南积极融入“丝绸之路”经济带的建设。
In 2014，the Initial Segment of the Grand Canal and the Silk Road were officially included into the World Heritage List. Henan，as a participant of the world heritage project，shared the success of applying “the Initial Segment and Tianshan Road Corridor”. As the only province who enjoyed two heritages，Henan proved to have important position in the process of Chinese civilization，which also provided powerful support for Henan Province in economic and social development and in opening up to outside and international exchanges. Relevant researches should be stressed，only by doing so can we manifest the comprehensive function of cultural heritage and actively integrate Henan with the construction of the Silk Road Economic Belt.
