2014年以来，河南新闻出版业“围绕中心、服务大局”成效初显、新闻出版事业产业齐头并进、新闻出版管理秩序更加规范、公共服务体系建设更加完善、行政监管服务能力不断提升。在取得成绩的同时，仍存在产业基础较薄弱、规模偏小、整体实力偏弱、市场竞争力不强等问题。今后要以改革创新为动力，以全省新闻出版产业转型升级为总领，以数字出版发展为突破口，以产业项目为抓手，以报业和出版两大企业为龙头，市场机制和政府引导共同推动，强力推动传统新闻出版媒体和新兴媒体深度融合发展。
