Under the background of Beijing to become world city, Chaoyang district bears a significant economic, social function. Its role should be a world city of Beijing economy core function area. Based on the analysis of intenational and domestic macro environment, this paper discussed the strategies and function orientation of Chaoyang District in the near future. Then put forward major tasks. After analysed the current situation and problem of areas such as district economic development, space layout, social development of Chaoyang,the paper put forward the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions.
