It is an important trend that airport would make the decision of the industrial site in 21th century,like the harbor in the 18th century, railway in 19th century, highway in 20th century. The new emerging urban form will gather around the airport as the industrial center of the region, including the formation of residential, commercial business, integrated leisure and shopping features. Amsterdam Schiphol Airport,Netherlands,had realized the "Airport City" concept in the 1990s for the first time. This paper will analyze the development trends, industry selection and spatial distribution of the airport city.
