在世界城市的建设发展过程中，内城发挥着重要的中心性作用。本文聚焦当今世界内城实力的判别与评估。相关报告以8个典型性世界城市为分析区域，通过20个指标项的调研，建立了内城指数系统。研究结果表明，内城建设将极大地提升世界城市的全球影响力。
Inner-cities play a central role for the development of World City. The article has focused on the identification of inner-city's strengths. It compared the 8 target world cities' "inner-cities" using 20 indicators and formed the inner city index system. The results showed that the inner-cities will contribute greatly to the global perception of the world cities.
