气候变化影响到城市的方方面面，城市作为主要的温室气体排放源，必须在应对气候变化中作出贡献，包括减缓和适应气候变化。本文借鉴最新的国际相关研究资料，对城市与气候变化之间的关系做了新的论述，提出了由气候变化减缓向气候变化适应转变的新思路，并提出摸清排放清单、加强城市易受灾害评估、加强国际合作等一系列当前对我国城市应对气候变化有启示性的建议。
Climate change has heavily impact on all aspects of city. As the main source of GHG, city must make response to climate change, including mitigation and adaptation. In 2011, UN-Habitat release the report "Cities and Climate Change—Global Report on Human Settlements 2011", which discusses the relationship of city and the climate change, and proposes the response policies and measures response. It is worth learning by China's Cities to address climate change.
