当前，文化艺术建设对于世界城市发展的作用正不断增强。本文主要探讨新加坡的“文艺复兴城市”计划中所体现出的文化建设方向及主要措施。文中对2000~2007年“文艺复兴城市”计划的第一阶段、第二阶段进行了回顾，并重点分析了2008年启动的第三阶段发展事件。新加坡城市的“文艺复兴”计划表明，文化内容建设、文化生态多样化，以及社区参与对于城市文化发展至关重要。
Culture and the arts are becoming more and more important for the development of world cities in the next stage. This paper, by focusing on the Singapore's Renaissance City Plan, try to illustrate the significant role of culture for global cities. It brought a review on the history of Renaissance City Plan I and Ⅱ from 2000 to 2007, and outlined the vision of Renaissance City Plan Ⅲ which initiated in 2008. The practice and strategy of the plan showed distinctive content, dynamic ecosystem, and engaged community will be important strategic directions for the future urban culture development.
