本文考察了世界主要国家主要城市促进移民社会融入的主要做法和经验，认为以下五点促进移民社会融入的经验做法值得借鉴：融合不是同化，融入标准应以获得公民权或市民权为标尺；融入政策的重点在于身份认同、语言、教育、就业和社会空间建设；必须加倍重视和推动第二代移民的社会融入；避免第二代移民融入问题的关键在于切实做好第二代移民的教育；有选择地吸引和接受移民，并协助移民融入社会。
The paper reviews and studies main practice and experiences of encouraging immigrants integrating by some famous world metropolis.It proposes that following points can give us some suggestions:① Integration is not assimilations, we can measure social integration by whether entitled the citizenship or not。② Integration policies should emphasis the identity, language, education, employment and social space construction。③ Police should pay more attention to better the social integration of the second generation of immigrants。④ Education for the second generation of immigrants is very critical for them to integrate into the city。⑤ The local authorities should help immigrants integrate into the city with encouraging policies.
