国际金融危机之后，关于世界城市发展模式出现了众多讨论，特别是对受资源和环境条件约束的大都市，服务业能否取代制造业在社会经济发展中的地位与作用，以及未来大都市制造业将如何发展等问题。本文考察了在服务业快速发展的大背景下，日本首都圈制造业的变迁、东京都制造业生产及企业分布与特征。试说明在国际大都市建设过程中制造业实现转型的关键是把握机遇，需要新城在空间和服务等方面提供支撑。同时，传统制造业中的部分产业依然能够在国际大都市中获得发展，并在城市与区域发展中发挥着不可替代的作用。
There are disputes on different models of urban development after the global financial crisis, particularly on the resource and environment constraints of metropolitan development, the replacement of manufacturing industries with service industries and, future development of metropolitan manufacturing industries.The paper has studied the evolution, distribution and characteristics of Tokyo's manufacturing industries in view of the rapid development of service industries.Case studies has explained that the key to the transition of metropolitan manufacturing industries is to relocate to surrounding new towns.Some of the manufacturing industries can develop within the metropolitan area with their irreplaceable function.
