本文旨在报告澳门教育的发展。首先,本文点出共同兴学、自主办学、多语教学等澳门教育的传统。其次,本文以政府公布的教育财政统计,以及平均每班人数、师生比、教师平均每周授课节数、受师资培训教师比例等统计,说明了澳门政府无论在高等教育与非高等教育领域,皆积极投入资源,为澳门教育的发展布置了较佳的环境。再次,由学生入学率等统计、学生成绩的国际评比、居民素质的自我评估,以及居民阅读状况自评等四项数据,说明澳门教育的产出与表现虽然达到一定的水平,但仍有相当大的努力空间。最后,本文指出,未来澳门教育发展的核心工作,应是以教育优质化提升澳门居民的综合生活素质。
The purpose of the paper is to delineate the educational development in Macao. Firstly,the paper points out that joint efforts in establishing and running schools,autonomy of schools and multi-lingual teaching can be characterized as the educational heritage of Macao education. Secondly,figures regarding the average number of students per class,teacher-student ratio,average weekly teaching hours per teacher and percentages of teachers having received or receiving professional training are provided to describe that Macao SAR government has invested a great amount of resources to better the conditions of educational development. Thirdly,figures of student enrollment rate,student performance on PISA,and residents self report of their reading habits are provided as indicators to demonstrate that the outcome reveals that there is room for improvement although the achievement of educational development in Macao in recent years has been obvious. The article concludes that the main task of the government is to raise the quality of life of Macao residents by enhancing the quality of education.
