2011年是“十二五”的开局之年，本文对2011年广西北部湾经济区开放开发进行总体回顾，总结了广西北部湾经济区开放开发所取得的发展成效。2012年是一个承前启后的年份，也是广西北部湾经济区加快开放开发进程、深化改革的关键之年，本文对2012年广西北部湾经济区的发展建设进行了总体展望，并提出若干发展思路与对策建议。
2011 is the beginning year of the twelfth national "FiveYear Plan".The paper conducts an overall review on the development of Guangxi Beibu Gulf Economic Zone as well as the summary of the achievement gained through the opening up and development of Guangxi Beibu Gulf Economic Zone.As an important period linking the past with the future,the year 2012 is also the crucial year in which the process of opening up and developing of Guangxi Beibu Gulf Economic Zone will accelerate and the reform of China will deepen.Several ideas on development and suggestions on policy will be proposed after the outlook to 2012.
