The paper examines the fundamental information of Guangzhou areas under the customs supervision and existing problems，and carries forward the development direction. Moreover，the paper discusses domestic and overseas experience on the development of areas under the customs supervision，and reaches out the countermeasures for the development of Guangzhou areas under the customs supervision.
