In the last 5 years' administration,Lee Myung-bak got an impressive achievement in the field of economic development by taking measures of promoting Green Growth and foreign trade export,although in the condition of global financial crisis.He enhanced South Korea-US alliance with the powerful trend of globalized diplomacy.The international status is raised with the G20 meeting and Global nuclear summit held in Seoul.However,the inter-Korean relation is worse because he carried out tough policy toward North Korea.In addition,there is a mixed reaction to his reform in education,distribution and capital changing.There are also some negative evaluations on him because of civil servant and his relatives' scandal,and leftover problems of the project of the Four big river regulation.
