2010年，全球经济进入缓慢的复苏进程。虽然受到欧盟债务危机等许多不利因素的影响，但韩国经济还是呈现出稳步复苏的良好态势。在韩国政府及企业界的共同努力下，韩国FDI的流入与流出总体形势发展良好。到2010年9月底，韩国吸引外资虽有所下降，但外资对韩国的投资结构却不断优化。相比之下，韩国对海外的投资发展良好，投资额稳步增长，尤其对海外资源的开发与投资不断增加，呈现出新的发展动向。
The year 2010 saw the gradual recovery of world economy. Despite all unfavorable factors such as the EU’s Debt Crisis，the RK had still gained a sound momentum of steady recovery in economy. With the joint efforts of the government and enterprises，a general situation of decent growth of both inward and outward FDI flows had been achieved. While foreign investment absorbed had been on the decrease by Sep.2010，the structure of foreign capital had been more optimized. In comparison，investment from the RK had been well-promoted and showed new moves of development，with steady increase in volume of investment，and the exploration and investment on overseas resources in particular.
