美国积极塑造和主导“跨太平洋伙伴关系”(TPP)谈判的直接目的是进一步打开亚太市场，扩大美国产品出口，促进国内就业，进而引领和塑造新的世界贸易规则。美国成功主导TPP之发展，将会对东亚经济一体化、亚太地区的贸易结构以及战略与安全态势产生深刻影响，有助于维护美国在亚太地区的地位和影响，短时期内可能会对中国造成一定程度的战略压力。中国需要以平衡的眼光认识TPP的发展及其对中国的潜在影响。
The U.S. is actively promoting and leading the development of the TPP with direct purposes for opening the Asia-Pacific market further,advancing U.S. export overseas,creating job opportunities domestically,and then reshaping the new world trade rules. The success of TPP will exert deep influences on the East Asian economic integration particularly,and on the trade architecture,strategic and security relations among the Asia-Pacific as a whole. The TPP will help the U.S. maintain its role of leadership in Asia-Pacific,and may exert some strategic pressure on China in short term. Balanced insights are needed for China to understand the development of TPP and its potential influence.
