国际金融危机的爆发和深化，必然进一步推动世界格局激烈而又深刻的变动。当前，大的时代没有变，但时代的主题和潮流将随着时代的发展变化而不断发展变化甚至转换；世界正处于大动荡、大调整、大变革的前夜，这是世界各种各类重大矛盾长期积累冲突的必然结果。虽然身处衰退之中，以美国为首的西方世界仍力图主导国际政治、经济秩序，金融、科技、文化和军事这“四位一体”的霸权，构成了当今世界资本帝国主义时代的新的特征。以美国为首的西方世界虽然拥有整体霸权，尤其是在高科技领域，但是，以信息革命为领衔的高新科技革命和以美国为主导的经济全球化，对于国际垄断资产阶级而言，也是一柄双刃剑，它在全球范围内进一步加剧了生产社会化和生产资料资本主义私人占有之间的矛盾。这一基本矛盾发展的必然结果是全球贫富差距的加剧，将引发深远的影响。因此，我们坚信，社会主义必定会在全球得以复兴。
The deepening of international financial crisis will further promote the changing of world order. In the next few decades，the progress of history is being accelerated. We can come to some conclusions. The big time has not changed，but themes and trend of the times will change along with development of the time. Today the world is on the eve of the great changes，big adjustment and severe turbulence. It was the accumulated outcome from the various contradictions in the world. Finance，science and technology，culture and military hegemonies are the new features of capital empire. The United States-led Western dominates the globalization of the economy after the “cold war”. The U.S. has overall hegemony，especially in the field of advanced high-technology. For international monopoly capitalist class，the new science and technology revolution led by information revolution，and economic globalization are a double-edged sword. It further intensifies the capitalist basic contradiction in the global scope. The result is the gap between the rich and the poor in the global. We firmly believe that socialism will be rejuvenated in the world.
