The Communist Party of Israel with its 93 year-history takes Marxism-Leninism as its guidelines，and socialism as its high aim.It is one of the important Left-wing forces in Israel and Middle East，and also the important component of socialist movement in the world. Focusing on the theme of “ equality，democracy，peace and socialism”，the twenty-sixth Congress of the Communist Party of Israel analyzed political and economic situation of the current world，especially of Arabia，pointed out some measures and programs in response to the complex situation，set important tasks to the Communist Party of Israel for the next years，indicated the direction of development of peace，democracy and socialist movement in Israel.
