“International Meeting of the Communist and Workers’ Parties ”of the contemporary world emerged as the times require at the end of the 20th Century. After ten years of its development，it has gradually grown into an anti-imperialist and anti-monopoly socialist international meeting leaded by the Marxist Workers’ Party in a context of capitalist countries. To study its emergence and development process，composition and operation mechanism，nature and characteristics，theory and practice，has an important role in exploring ways and methods to strengthen unity and cooperation in the new period of world socialist movement.
