It is thirteen years since the APEC Shanghai summit that China hosted the APEC summit again in Beijing. At present，China is the second largest economy in the world，which has and will cause fundamental changes in the regional economic structure. Against such background，the APEC Beijing summit is expected to achieve more progress. In order to better understand the themes of this summit，the paper tries to give a systematic retrospect and review around the themes，such as the Free Trade Agreement of Asia-Pacific（FTAAP），innovative economic growth，and connectivity. Hopefully，such retrospect and review will be considered as a kind of basic work for the further discuss and deployment of those themes.
